Kitchen Planner Terms of Use

1. A Visual Tool, Not a Design Service

The planner is a visual layout aid. It is not a professional kitchen design, measurement, or installation service, and Valtrena does not review designs made with it. The planner does not check your design against your actual room, and a layout that looks correct on screen may not fit or work in your space.

2. You Are Responsible for Measuring and Verifying

Before you order, you are responsible for confirming:

• Room dimensions, ceiling height, and walls or floors that are out of square or level.
• Windows, doors, door swings, soffits, vents, plumbing, gas, and electrical locations.
• Appliance sizes and the openings and clearances your appliance manufacturer requires.
• Every cabinet size, door and drawer clearance, and filler width in your design.
• Local building codes and anything your installer or contractor requires.

We recommend having your measurements and design checked by a qualified installer or contractor before ordering.

3. Quantities Are Estimates, Accessories Especially

The quantities the planner puts in your cart are estimates based on the layout you drew. This is especially true of accessories such as toe kicks, fillers, panels, skins, and moulding: the amount you need depends on your room, how your installer cuts and scribes them, and waste, none of which the planner can know. Review every line in your cart and add or remove items to match your own project before you pay. Ordering a little extra trim and filler is common practice.

4. Colors and Appearance

Colors, finishes, wood grain, and lighting in the planner are computer renderings and will differ from the actual product and from screen to screen. To see a finish in person, order a sample door before placing your order.

5. Prices, Availability, and What Reaches Your Cart

Any prices or totals shown while you design are for reference. The prices, items, and quantities in your cart and at checkout are the ones that apply. Some items in a design may not be added to your cart, for example when they are out of stock or not sold in the color you chose; we tell you when that happens, and you should check your cart before paying.

6. Sharing Designs

A shared design link contains the whole design, including any address or notes you typed into it. Anyone who has the link can open it, so share it only with people you trust.

7. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The planner is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Valtrena Cabinets is not liable for any loss, cost, or damage arising from use of the planner or from relying on a design made with it, including wrong-size or wrong-quantity orders, return shipping and restocking fees, installation or labor costs, modifications, or project delays.

Products you order are covered by our Return Policy and Warranty, the same as any other order. Cabinets or accessories ordered in the wrong size, configuration, or quantity are standard returns under the Return Policy, including its restocking fee and non-returnable items.

8. Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the planner, or update these terms, at any time. The terms posted on this page when you place your order are the ones that apply.
